Some records I’ve listened to in the past couple days

  • Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang Clan (36 Chambers)
  • Nas - Illmatic (at least once a day for the past week)
  • Eric B & Rakim - Paid In Full
  • CunninLynguists - Oneirology
  • The Notorious B.I.G. - Ready To Die
  • Aesop Rock - Bazooka Tooth
  • Shabazz Palaces - Black Up (almost as much as Illmatic)
  • Death Grips - Exmilitary
  • G-Side - ISLAND

As an extremely square white person I’ve always felt a little self-conscious about enjoying rap. I’m not sure exactly why, but I’ve never been able to shake that feeling. That being said, FUCK these are some amazing records. Especially the Nas and Shabazz Palaces.

About

Hi, I'm Josh. I'm a senior in Civil Engineering at the University of Alabama. I have an almost Asperger's level of addiction to finding new music. I have my own radio show, Get Folked Up!, on the University of Alabama's radio station, WVUA 90.7FM, and am a contributor to Jeffro's Indie Rawk Blog.

Books I've read in 2011.
